Three pillars, one roof
Most golf bars bolt a kitchen on. We started with the dumplings.
Indoor golf has become a Metro Vancouver fixture, and almost all of it runs on wings and sliders. Dimsum Caddy is built the other way round — a dim sum kitchen and a real bar programme, with the simulator bays wired into the same room.

Immersive simulator bays wired into the room, so a round, a round of drinks, and a full order of dumplings never compete for your night.

Immersive golf, indoors, all year.
Simulator bays are one of the three things this room was designed around. Screens are visible from the floor and from the bar, so nobody has to choose between watching the shot and finishing the plate.

The bays sit in the room, not in a back corridor. Order, swing, sit down, order again.

The room
The old Shark Club, completely redrawn.
The unit beside the Sandman Signature Vancouver Airport Hotel sat dark after a long run as a sports bar. What replaces it is warmer and considerably quieter about it — green marble, low amber light, and plants running the walls.
